The Smart Cleanse: A Reboot That Works

"A safe cleanse is one which doesn't allow you to starve yourself or maybe take fancy pills, potions or costly drinks." ~Mark Hyman, MD., Institute For Functional Medicine

I do not juice-only cleanse. Ever. I don't take up a clean without preparing. Ever.

A friend informed me two weeks ago she was going on a cleanse to jumpstart weight loss as well as healthy diet . As she was talking I thought, "it's not traveling to work." But when she said,"It just feels the right thing to do. Also, I'm ready," I believed to myself, "Don't be very quick to dismiss it, perhaps it'll work."
For a few days my friend sent me pictures of what she was eating, with updates, "Oh my gosh, I think extremely great!" On day 3 the texts stopped. The following week when I asked her the way the cleanse was going, she replied, "I stopped. I couldn't do it."
Juice cleanses are all the rage -- a celebrity driven $5 billion (yes, five dolars billion) industry and best nootropics bulletproof - https://www.federalwaymirror.com/national-marketplace/best-nootropics-re... growing -- promises losing weight, detoxification from food and environmental chemicals, clearer skin, improved - http://www.purevolume.com/search?keyword=improved digestion, mental clarity, along with a jumpstart to eating which is healthy.
Juice cleansing is not a panacea to health that is good.
My private opinion is the fact that all juice cleanses - http://Www.Superghostblogger.com/?s=juice%20cleanses are just another fad diet. And, in fact, juice cleansing may be found with short- and long-term detriments to enduring wellness.
You will find a variety of cleaning and detox plans -- from 3 day juice merely detoxes to 21 day anything and applications in between. While a 3 day juice-only cleanse might not have lasting negative effects they're not the remedy for jumpstarting weight-loss or the latest healthy way of life either.
